Volunteering with us – it’s #good for you

We rely on people like you playing their part to give young people opportunities to dream big, give it a go, and build skills for life.

We’re always looking for people to help out in all sorts of ways in our sections and behind the scenes. Whether you want to support young people or if you’re more comfortable planning an adventure from the sidelines, we’ve got opportunities for you to get involved.

Our current requirements/opportunities:

Cubs:Wednesday night – Logie Church Hall 7.15-8.30pm
Scouts:Wednesday night – Causewayhead Park 7.30 – 9.15pm

Occasional helpers for events like fun days or camps, but specifically:-
People interested in helping out with comms, social media, PR, website

Scout Hut Project team: surveyors, planners, architects, builders, project managers, fundraisers

Scouts happens when a lot of us give a little. You’re not signing up for a lifelong commitment – just to help out, when and where you can.

If you’d be interested in finding out more, please contact us.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
